Sinopec to protect the health of children and Hengyi petrochemical joint venture SPL project recently, Zhejiang baling Hengyi caprolactam Co., Ltd., jointly established by Sinopec Baling Branch and Hengyi Petrochemical Co., Ltd., held an establishment ceremony. This is the first joint venture between SINOPEC and domestic private enterprises in the field of caprolactam (CPL). The two sides jointly invested 3.6 billion yuan to build the world's largest monomer production capacity of 200000 tons of caprolactam project

Located in Hangzhou Xiaoshan Linjiang Industrial Park, baling Hengyi caprolactam project with an annual output of 200000 tons is one of the key projects of "2+4" strategic cooperation between SINOPEC and Hangzhou. The project covers an area of 1160 Mu and is jointly constructed by Baling Branch of Sinopec electronic mechanical UTM experimental machine and Hengyi Petrochemical Co., Ltd., a holding enterprise of Hengyi group, accounting for 50% respectively. The project is the caprolactam project with the largest monomer capacity in the world at present. It adopts the second-generation green and environmental protection new technology of caprolactam with independent intellectual property rights of Sinopec. Its main products include caprolactam, cyclohexane, cyclohexanone, cyclohexanol, ammonium sulfate, hydrogen peroxide and other chemical raw materials

caprolactam is an important raw material for nylon spinning and engineering plastics. Due to its high technical bottleneck, large initial investment, complex engineering construction and high difficulty in safe production, private enterprises have not made a breakthrough in this field. Insiders believe that the establishment of Baling Hengyi will be conducive to relying on Sinopec's strong technical support and perfect management methods to further enrich the core technical personnel, and will also affect the measurement of the experimental machine to optimize the capital structure, so as to speed up the project construction and improve the technical level and production capacity of private enterprises in this field. It is understood that since the project was started in December 2009, the "three high and one low" development experimental data of "high technology content, high added value, high investment rate and low pollution" can be used to store the road. At present, the project construction is progressing smoothly, and the trial production is expected in the second quarter of 2012
